- To generate official Form E internship completion reports for your institute.
- To send notifications about application updates, feedback, and platform news.
- To improve matching accuracy by aggregating anonymized usage patterns.
Data Sharing
- Your profile is shared only with companies you actively apply to — not before.
- Institutes can view progress data for students enrolled under their umbrella.
- We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party.
- Anonymized, aggregated statistics may be published for research purposes.
Data Security
- All data is encrypted in transit using TLS 1.3.
- Passwords are hashed using bcrypt with a per-user salt.
- Access to production data is restricted to core team members with 2FA.
- We perform regular security reviews and dependency audits.
Your Rights
- Request a full export of all data associated with your account.
- Request deletion of your account and all associated data within 30 days.
- Correct or update any inaccurate profile information at any time.
- Opt out of non-essential communications from your profile settings.
Data Retention
- Active account data is retained as long as your account exists.
- Deleted accounts are purged from primary storage within 30 days.
